C3 Choo-Choo Churros

...................................................................................................

The story begins in 1991. There was a competition organized for the city to give 2 spaces on the street of downtown to sell food. A thousand contestants apply for it and our Churros and a coffee vendor were the winners. I felt very blessed and I was very motivated to start a new journey. I happily set up a little cart to sell Churros on Church Street, where back then all the visitors, local and tourists, will come to enjoy the charm of the city in downtown orlando. I remember, I was charmed by the train that would come and bring a sensation of the old times with its typical Choo Choo sound. And so I decided to named the business Choo Choo Churros. Everybody loved it! It was such of event to come and enjoy just Churros on Church Street at Choo Choo Churros. It grew so much in popularity that became a very successful business. Thus, eventually, Choo Choo Churros was opening the doors to the very first Argentinean steak house in orlando.

I am still very thankful for this opportunity. Today, 20 years later, we still are very thankful to have the opportunity to continue serving the community and sharing our traditions at the very Argentinian style. We do cut the steak at the traditional way, make our own chorizos, and continue making the Churros with a variety of different flavors like Dulce de leche, guava and chocolate. We now have a brand. I feel gratitude to all the people that has supported and patronized our business. Thank you!

Our place was built to reflect an authentic Argentinean house. The intention is to transport our guests to get immerse in our traditions throughout the ambience, the attention, the music, and the food. We don't offer the luxury or the common service of other restaurants but the coziness and warming greetings of a home lifestyle, where family and friends feel comfortable and open to truly share and enjoy connecting moments.

We are very proud to be the winners of the HBIF of Greater Orlando Success Stories in 2004 where the Hispanic Business Initiative Fund Of Greater Orlando, inc. made a contest among 3 Latin restaurants, including Bongos in downtown Disney, Latin quarters in Universal and we Choo Choo Churros, Argentinean steak house . We were the winners. We are very proud of our kitchen and work. Thank you
